Celebrate the Equinox - 2017
With cool autumn nights quickly approaching in the Northern Hemisphere and sunny spring days arriving in the Southern Hemisphere, we thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate the coming equinox with an in-game event. New seasons mean new adventures!
The Pokémon GO Equinox event will run from September 22nd (1pm PDT) - October 2nd 2017 (1pm PDT), and will bring with it the following rewards:
Double stardust
You'll earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching Eggs as you walk around.
Feeding Pokémon berries in gyms will also reward double Stardust, and this also applies to the first catch of the day bonus.
Special 2k eggs
Pokestops will drop special 2km Eggs during the event that will hatch into:

Super incubators
Super Incubators will hatch eggs 1.5 times quicker, reducing the amound of walking required for your eggs.
Each Super Incubator can be used three times, and is contained in the special gift-boxes available during the Equinox event.
Triple XP from new Pokémon
Registering a new Pokémon to your Pokédex during this limited-time celebration will earn you triple the normal XP.
Legendaries are changing
Unknown Pokémon, Unknown Pokémon, and Unknown Pokémon will be moving to new parts of the world on September 30th, giving everyone a chance to catch a new Pokémon.
